Seattle Seahawks TV Schedule: Start Time and Channel For Preseason Game Week 2

Aug 15, 2014 01:08 PM EDT

The Seattle Seahawks are back on the TV schedule for their week 2 preseason game and the matchup is live on NFL Network against the San Diego Chargers from CenturyLink Field and the start time is 10 pm ET and has the team looking to get their first win of the preseason slate after losing to the Broncos in the Super Bowl rematch last week and this is ahead of the Chicago bears game at home next weekend.

The Seahawks are coming into the season as Super Bowl champions and they have a target on their backs and now they play against the Chargers at home before another matchup in Seattle against the Bears. The preseason schedule has these two home games before a road matchup with the Oakland Raiders and that game will be on the NFL Network before the season kicks off on NBC.

The first matchup of the season has the Green Bay Packers at home in Week 1 and that will be on NBC on Thursday and starts up at 8:30 pm ET. The Week 2 matchup is on the road again and the team has the Chargers for the second time from the preseason and the team has the same coming up in Week 3, as they will host the Denver Broncos. The Seahawks have three games and then a bye week and the next matchup will be in Week 5 on Monday night football against RG3 and the Washington Redskins.

Many think that the Seahawks have the best chance to repeat of anyone in recent years and they have a tough schedule with that early bye week. The team has a stretch of three road games in four weeks after coming out of the bye and after playing against the Redskins, the team has the Dallas Cowboys at home. The team then plays against the St. Louis Rams and Carolina Panthers before matchups at home with the Oakland Raiders and New York Giants. The Kansas City Chiefs are next on the schedule before a very important stretch, including two games against the San Francisco 49ers in three weeks. The team also plays the eagles and Rams down the stretch.

The schedule this weekend has a number of solid matchups, including the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles playing on Friday night. The Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders play for the last game on Friday, while Green Bay and the Rams open things on Saturday. The Giants and Colts are playing on Saturday night and so are the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys.

The Sunday matchups include the Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers, while the Chiefs and Panthers are also playing. The Monday night football matchup has the Cleveland Browns and Washington Redskins and that is the last game of the week.
