Chicago Bears vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming Preseason Game

Aug 14, 2014 07:45 PM EDT

The Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars are playing live on the NFL preseason schedule in Week 2 and the matchup on TV is from ESPN and starts at 8 pm ET from Soldier Field and is also live streaming on WatchESPN and on radio from ESPNRadio for the first game of the week and this has Jay Cutler and company matching up with Blake Bortles as he gets his feet wet in the pros.

The Bears and Jaguars kick off the week on Thursday on ESPN before a full Friday slate and that opens with an anticipated matchup between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bears come into the game after winning over those Eagles in their first game of the preseason and that saw the team win at home and they will be at home for this matchup as well before travelling for their next two games.

Jimmy Clausen led the way for the Bears in the first game and he passed for 150 yards and now Jay Cutler could see some more time on the field in this matchup. The starters don't usually play too long in Week 2, but the team may use some more on defense to get things going in the right direction heading into the season. The game next week is very anticipated and that is a Friday matchup on the road with the world champion Seattle Seahawks.

The Bears had a great season offensively last year and they are looking to improve on defense overall after giving up the most yards in franchise history. Marc Trestman showed in his first season with the team that he is an offensive minded coach and that resulted in strong years for Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.

Jay Cutler and his health could be the key to the year for the Bears and it comes after he missed time in 2013 and had Josh McCown come in. McCown played so well that some thought the Bears should sit Jay Cutler, but Trestman opted not to do that and now Cutler has a long new deal and McCown is in Tampa Bay.

The schedule for the preseason finishes with the Cleveland Browns and that will be on the road and that actually is a good thing for the Bears, as they have a brutal road stretch to start the season. Chicago may have their success this season defined by the first eight games, as that schedule is very tough leading into their bye week and this comes after starting at home with the Buffalo Bills.

The team has to travel to play the San Francisco 49ers on the road for Sunday Night Football in Week 2 and then the team has another road game against the Jets and that will be on Monday night football. The Week 2 matchup starts a stretch of four road games in five weeks and after playing the Packers at home in a crucial division game, the team then travels to play the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons.
