Arsenal and Manchester City are playing live on Sunday for the FA Community Shield title and the match is from Wembley Stadium, starting up at 10 am ET, 3 pm local time on Fox and with a live stream from the Fox Soccer 2Go website and has the Gunners taking on the Citizens in this early season matchup and has the English Premier League champions against the FA Cup winners to open the domestic side of things in 2014.

Arsenal felt they had a good chance to win the Premier League title last season and while they were in first place for quite a while, they ended up in fourth in the table standings and Man City won the championship. The Citizens stormed ahead of the Liverpool on the league table standings and finished ahead of Chelsea and the Gunners and that puts both teams in the Champions League mix, with Arsenal set in the playoff round coming up soon.

Arsenal comes into the season after winning their first trophy in years with the FA Cup and that is why they are in this game against Manchester City. The team won the FA Cup against Hill City and now they face off against Man City after winning that trophy in extra time and Arsene Wenger has high expectations for his club this season and things start on Sunday with the anticipated matchup. Arsenal had their moments last season and couldn't keep it up and now they have made some moves after previously adding Mesut Ozil and they now added Alexis Sanchez as their big signing over the summer.

Manchester City comes into the season after winning the Premier League title and they did it with scoring and they ended up as the top goal scorers in the league. Yaya Toure had another strong season and had 20 goals along with nine assists and he will be key once again if the team wants to win this year and that would make it three titles in four years. Both teams likely will play starters since the Premier League season is a week away and this gives each side the chance to get an important matchup under their belts before EPL games open.

Arsenal has won 12 shields and this also gives the chance for a team not named Manchester to take the title since back in 2010 and Bacary Sagna could see some time after moving to Man City. Toure said playing in the World Cup and this match is good preparation to defend the Premier League title and he said he had high expectations for the team this season coming into things after the strong push down the stretch. Vincent Kompany will not be playing in the game and Sanchez is looking to continue his strong start with the Gunners.

Arsenal was seven points back of Man City at the end of the EPL season and now they can exact a bit of revenge and it comes after snapping their nine year streak of winning some metal. The Gunners had some tough losses this season, including on the road against Man City as well as losses to Liverpool and Chelsea on the schedule.
