The Bills have big expectations for first round pick Sammy Watkins after the team traded up to get him and he could be the biggest difference in the development of Manuel this year. Head coach Doug Marrone is an offensive minded dude and he has talent on his team with Watkins, CJ Spiller and Robert Woods along with Fred Jackson and that could give Manuel all he needs to turn into a solid starting QB this year after dealing with some struggles and injuries last year.
Newton will be an MVP candidate this season and he led the team with 3,379 passing yards and he had another strong season and now he looks like he is maturing into a leader. DeAngelo Williams dealt with some injuries and he will be a key player and the status of Greg Hardy after his offseason issues also will be a major concern for the club.
The team opens with the Buffalo Bills and then the team plays the Chiefs at home and in the preseason they also play against the New England Patriots and the Steelers. The team has a tough schedule this season, as they do not have a bye until Week 12 and that makes the beginning of the season very hard to get things going. The team opens with the Buccaneers and then plays at home against the Lions and the Steelers and then the team has a massive gauntlet coming after that.
The team plays against the Ravens and then at home against the Chicago Bears before the road games against the Bengals and the Green Bay Packers and then they return home to play against the Seattle Seahawks. The Saints, Eagles and Falcons are on the calendar before the bye week and by then the team likely will be in playoff contention or out of it based on those tough games.
