Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox Live Stream: Watch Online MLB American League Central Baseball Games Streaming 1:08 PM ET

The Detroit Tigers have done a great job all of season of not letting their losing skids carry one for too long and the team looks to prove that once again in their final game against the Chicago White Sox. The Tigers managed to end a four-game losing streak by getting the 7-2 win over Chicago while keeping their lead in the American League Central standings. Now they hope to close out the series by starting another win streak.

During the four-game skid, the Tigers only managed six runs total, but bounced back well. This has been a trend for Detroit Who won seven straight games back in June after losing four in a row. They proceeded to go on streak of winning 12 of 14 total before losing three straight once again in July. The inconsistencies have not been enough to knock them out of the top spot in the standings.

Drew Smyly will get the start for the Tigers. He is 6-9 with a 3.77 ERA on the season. The pitcher is coming off a solid outing where he gave up just one run and four hits to the Cleveland Indians before following that up with two runs and striking out 11 in five innings against the Los Angeles Angels. He will pair well with the bats of Detroit. Nick Castellanos hit a three-run home run on Wednesday. He is currently batting .417 in his last six home games.

John Danks will counter for the White Sox. He is 9-6 with a 4.40 ERA. He is currently facing trade rumors heading into the 4pm trade deadline so there is certainly a chance that he does not see the field, but that is unlikely. Danks is 3-0 with a 3.51 ERA in his last four road games while winning his two starts against Detroit.
