Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees Live Stream: Watch Online MLB Game AL East

Jul 26, 2014 12:58 PM EDT

The Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees are playing live on the MLB schedule on Saturday and the game starts at 1:05 pm ET and has Chris Capuano matched up against the Drew Hutchison and they are facing off as the Yanks come in hot and they have won a ton of games in a row against the Jays in the Bronx and now the Yankees are in the wild card spot and moving up.

The Yankees gave up some home runs on Friday, but the team came out on top and now they have won 17 games in a row and they won 6-4 and they could match one of the best streaks ever with a win and now the team is 7-1 over the last eight games and have been moving along well. The team has picked up Capuano and Chase Headley and the team is likely not done dealing after also getting Brandon McCarthy earlier in the season as well.

Capuano is heading into the rotation now and Toronto comes in without having scored more than four runs in the Bronx in over a dozen games and now they come in after Hiroki Kuroda won and then on Sunday it will be Shane Greene again in the pitching matchup. The team is ranked 20th in runs scored this season and 17th in batting average and the team is also ranked 19th in slugging and on base percentage and while those numbers are not that great, the team was worse off before that and now they are moving in the right direction again.

The team has pitching going well now and they are moving up after being over 20th in ERA and they are 17th in ERA and 18th in quality starts, but the bullpen has been amazing. Dellin Betances and David Robertson have been fantastic and they have been as good as can be and now the Yankees have a true strength in the bullpen and Chase Whitley is there with Adam Warren and David Huff and that has been one of the best things for the Yankees this season.

Capuano comes in after playing with the Red Sox and he is needed now, as the team had Whitley's innings going up and they needed more support. Masahiro Tanaka still has some discomfort in his arm and he is out of things for now, while CC Sabathia is out for the season. The Jays offense has been hot and they are ranked in the top five in batting average and runs as well as home runs and they are third in slugging percentage, while they are seventh in on base percentage. The pitching has not been as good as the hitting and they are in the bottom half in ERA and quality starts as well as BAA, but they are right in the thick of the division race as well as the wild card in the AL.
