NFL Trade Rumors: Adrian Peterson, Tony Romo, Patrick Willis, Ryan Tannehill, Darrelle Revis Make Grantland Value Chart For 2014

The NFL season in 2014 is getting closer to starting and with training camps opening up around the league, Grantland put together their annual trade value list and names like Adrian Peterson, Tony Romo, Patrick Willis, Ryan Tannehill, Darrelle Revis, Joe Haden and Demaryius Thomas all made the list, which is based on contracts, age and need, but obviously doesn't mean these players will be traded.

Last year the list had many of the same players but in different positions and Bill Barnwell writes this season that Adrian Peterson belongs near the bottom of the list, as his contract takes up over 10 percent of the salary cap. Peterson's name came up in trade rumors last year while the Vikings were struggling, but those never were realistic and now he is looking to help the team have a bounce back season. This season Peterson's contract will be $14.4 million and while he is one of the best running backs in baseball and usually puts up between 1200-1400 yards per season, it's still a ton of money to pay for an aging player. The team likely will have to make a decision after this season about what to do with Peterson and with the value of RBs going down and his age going up, it could be a tough one.

Tony Romo and the Cowboys are looking to get back to the playoffs after losing in Week 17 last season to the Eagles to miss out on the postseason and he will need another big season from Dez Bryant. The Cowboys need to improve their defense and that is a big project, as they were ranked near the bottom of the league in passing yards and rushing yards allowed per game.
