The Buffalo Bills have opened training camp and Sammy Watkins and EJ Manuel are the stars for fans as the offense gets to work and on defense, Marcell Dareus failed his conditioning test and has not had a good offseason and he was also excused from practice to attend a hearing and now he will avoid charges if he gets into a pre-trial intervention program in Alabama after being arrested in May.

The Buffalo Bills have opened training camp and they will play the first preseason game against the Giants and this year, Sammy Watkins will be a major factor in the development of EJ Manuel, while defensive tackle Marcell Dareus is opening training camp on the sidelines, as he will be on the PUP list after failing his conditioning test.

According to ESPN.com, Dareus failed his conditioning test and was left on the non-football injury list for the time being before the first training camp practice on Sunday. Dareus has had some issues the past year, including getting arrested during this offseason and there is a chance he could face a suspension. Last season Dareus had 7.5 sacks on the season along with 71 tackles and he is looking to progress this season in the defense under head coach Doug Marrone and the team has high hopes for him.

The Bills ownership situation is up in the air and so is their future in Buffalo and they went all in on Sammy Watkins and they are hoping he can be a superstar. The team traded Stevie Johnson this past offseason and now Watkins is looking to help the team improve after the Bills ranked 28th in passing yards per game last season.

Manuel showed some flashes of brilliance, but he was up and down for most of the season and had 1,972 passing yards. The Bills are looking to get that going and they come in after ranking second in the league in rushing yards per game with over 144 per contest. The defense ranked fourth in passing yards allowed per game last season and 28th in rushing and they were 6-10 last season in the first year under Marrone and he will try and make some gains in the AFC east.
