The Kevin Love trade rumors are picking up again, as the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to bring him in to join LeBron James and so far they have been unwilling to put Andrew Wiggins in the deal to the Minnesota Timberwolves, while players like Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett or Tristan Thompson could be traded along with a first round pick to the Wolves to get a deal done this summer.

According to ESPN.com, Love said that he would be intrigued by the idea of playing for the Cavaliers now that they have LeBron James and he would be willing to sign long term there. So far the Timberwolves have not looked at trading Love, although they have gotten into talks with the Golden State Warriors. The Cavs reportedly offered Dion Waiters and Anthony Bennett along with a first round pick in the future, but the team wants at least Andrew Wiggins and that is more than the Cavs are willing to give right now.

The Cavaliers are looking into whether they should trade Wiggins or not and right now they are in the camp of not moving him. With or without Love, the Cavaliers will be much better with LeBron in the fold and they also have a crop of young players led by Kyrie Irving. James is in on a two year deal and Irving has agreed to sign a max extension and while getting Love would be massive, the team still should make the playoffs without him. James took a Cavs team worse than thios one to the finals and while the east should be tough this year, the Cavs should be in the middle of it.

The Central division is where it's at, as the Cavaliers have James back, while the Indiana Pacers will be very good and the Chicago Bulls just signed Pau Gasol. If the Bulls can stay healthy and Gasol plays well along with Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah, that is definitely a playoff team. The east is wide open and Miami should still be good now that they have signed Luol Deng and the team also brought back Chris Bosh on a deal. The Heat also agreed with Dwyane Wade along with Chris Andresen, Mario Chalmers, Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger and that should give the team some depth.

Adding Love would be amazing, but the Wolves have no problem holding onto him and making another run at the playoffs and at him signing an extension. Love has said that he wants to test the market and he will get his first chance in the summer of 2015. Love has said that he has a desire to play in the playoffs and so far in his six seasons in Minnesota he has not been close to that. Love averaged over 25 points and 12 rebounds last season and is one of the best young players in the league and he ranked in the top five in PER, points per game and win shares with LeBron last season. The Cavaliers still need to do more, but with or without Love they should be able to make a run and adding Love would make them the favorites.
