NBA Free Agency Rumors 2014: Ray Allen, Mike Miller, Jimmer Fredette, Emeka Okafor Options For Nuggets, Spurs, Thunder?

The NBA free agency period is moving along after names like LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony signed and now players like Ray Allen, Mike Miller, Jimmer Fredette, Emeka Okafor, Shawn Marion and Jordan Crawford could be some of the next ones to go, as teams like the Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs and OKC Thunder could be looking to add depth to their rosters.

Mike Miller and Ray Allen are targets for the Cleveland Cavaliers after LeBron James signed, while the Denver Nuggets are also chasing Miller. Jimmer Fredette has not received any interest at all on the free agent market, but he could be a low salary signing for a team later in free agency and the Spurs and Bulls have been mentioned as possibilities. Fredette also reportedly has an offer to play in Europe and he could do that if he doesn't get a deal he likes.

Emeka Okafor and Shawn Marion remain targets for teams as well and they could be options for the Miami Heat or the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs just signed Chandler Parsons and they could look at bringing Marion back, while he also is a target for the Miami Heat. Miami just signed Luol Deng and they have also brought back Chris Bosh along with Chris Andresen and Mario Chalmers after LeBron James left. Miami still is a team to reckon with in the east and they will have chances to stay in the mix with LeBron now in Cleveland.

The Cavaliers got rid of $22 million in cap space to try and sign other players and they are going after Allen and Miller. Allen has been mentioned as an option for a number of teams along with retirement, while Miller has been getting heavy interest from the Nuggets as well. Denver has offered Miller a three year deal worth $12 million, while the Cavs is for two years and he could decide this week. With Chandler Parsons staying in Dallas, their interest in Miller is likely over and now he has a decision to make with LeBron in Cleveland.

Allen averaged 9.3 points per game last season and was a key part for the Miami Heat and now he is deciding his options. As the free agent market gets thinner, these players will have options and they could be big factors for the top teams next season depending on where they sign up to play. The Cavaliers want to add more around James and he loved playing with both Miller and Allen and that makes the players solid options to join up.
