The USA World Cup dream ended on Tuesday night, as Belgium won over the United States in extra time with a goal after a slip by a defender and now the chance to advance is over and this comes after the US won over Ghana to open their tournament and now Belgium moves along to face off against Argentina in the quarterfinals.

The United States played very well, but one mistake led to an open shot for the team and after Tim Howard stood on his head all night, the team could not come back after the goal and now they are done. Howard had 13 saves when the goal went in and he has had one of the best performances for a goalie in the World Cup, but now they are done.

The team played very well, but now they are done and it comes after the team scored goals against the amazing Tim Howard in extra time. The US sure made it scary at the end, getting a goal from young star Julian Green and they had attack after attack, but noting went through and they had one amazing chance that should have went in but did not.

From the game preview: The United States and Belgium played live on the World Cup round of 16 schedule and the knockout game is live on ESPN with a live stream on WatchESPN and on Univision for the Spanish language coverage and this game for the USA is the biggest in American soccer history and could lead them into the quarterfinals and it starts up at 4 pm ET at Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador.

The United States came into the matchup with plenty of confidence and also as the underdogs and they will need everything to break their way to win on Tuesday. Jermaine Jones has been one of the best players for the US during this tournament and he needs to play well and he comes in with a broken nose and a great goal from the Portugal matchup. Clint Dempsey will need to continue his strong play and Michael Bradley needs to step up as well, as he has not had a great game yet, although he has been crucial for the US up to this point.
