Brazil's national soccer team player Neymar (L), Marcelo (C) and David Luiz attend a training session at Estadio Presidente Vargas stadium in Fortaleza July 3, 2014. Brazil will play Colombia in the quarter-final in Fortaleza on July 4, 2014. "

The World Cup 2014 is live on Univision with stream coverage as the quarterfinals continue for Germany and France on ESPN and WatchESPN and the game is live form Rio and the winner plys against Brazil or colombi in their mtchup in the final eight in the quarters on Friday.

Check here for the Germany and France coverage.

United States and Belgium play from the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador and this game has Clint Dempsey looking to score and starts up in Brazil at 4 pm noon ET on ESPN and the WatchESPN website and this game is for the next spot in the knockout rounds and BEL comes in as the favorites but the US has the hope and momentum.

Argentina comes in with the best player in the world in Lionel Messi and he will need to come through once again for his nation if they want to advance to the quarterfinals. Messi is leading Argentina with four goals in three games and he was the main reason the team won all three games in the group stage and now they have the chance to advance as a South American team in Brazil. The Argentina side is one of the favorites left for the tournament with Brazil, Germany and France and it would mark the first time a European team wins on the continent when the World Cup is held there, which plays in favor of the Brazilians and other sides from that continent.

Messi is the best player left in the World Cup and he could be the single man to win it for Argentina. Messi has been the leading scorer for his team and he will have to take that mantle again, as Sergio Aguero is out for the matchup and that puts even more pressure on Messi to get things done. Argentina comes into the knockout stage after winning each of their matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and Nigeria, but none of those games were crazy decisive and now they are looking to play their best game of the tournament.

Argentina got lucky with their Group F set and their opponents played them tough and now the Swiss are going to try and do the same. The 26 year old star in Lionel Messi is the main concern and the Swiss counter with Xherdan Shaqiri, who had a hat trick in the final game of the group stage and he will need to be at the top of his game in this matchup and most predict that if he is held back, Argentina will win easily. Brazil did not have an easy road through and now Argentina is looking to join the host nation, the Netherlands, Costa Rica and Colombia in the quarters.

Argentina plays ahead of the United States and Belgium and that game will have plenty of attention, as it's the last game of the knockout stage first round and it also has team USA playing to advance and that should put the ratings into another level for ESPN. Argentina and Switzerland are playing live on the World Cup schedule and the match is live on ESPN, WatchESPN and Univision for the Spanish language coverage and the game in Brazil is for the round of 16 and a spot in the quarterfinals and the game starts up at 12 pm at Arena Corinthians in São Paulo and is the biggest game for these teams in the tournament.
