Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo warms up before their 2014 World Cup Group G soccer match against Ghana at the Brasilia national stadium in Brasilia June 26, 2014."

The FIFA World Cup is live with Portugal and Ghanain Group G at 12 pm noon on Univision on TV and the live stream coverage is in Spanish from the network and on ESPN and the WatchESPN website along with the United States and Germany and this match is from Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha in Brasilia as the teams try to stay alive.

The United States won over Ghana in dramatic fashion after losing to the team at the past two World Cup tournaments and that came after a late goal from John Brooks on a beautifully placed corner kick  from Graham Zusi, who has been huge for the team since Jose Altidore went down. Clint Dempsey scored a goal 30 seconds into the game to give the Americans an early lead and they held that until Ghana came back and scored after the 80th minute and many fans saw that as deflating. Zusi stepped up and out up a great kick to set up the goal and later against Portugal he pulled off a similar play to get the go ahead goal before Ronaldo later tied it.

Soccer or football or futbol can he a cruel game and the Americans learned that against Portugal and now they have to find a way through. Clint Dempsey scored a late goal after Jermaine Jones tied the game up, putting a shot from Zusi in off of his chest and now the team looks poised to advance to the next round barring another disaster. Portugal played it to the last second and Ronaldo got free after being help back for nearly the entire game and he quieted every American fan and now Thursday is the day it either ends or keeps going.

Germany remains a favorite in the tournament along with Brazil and Argentina along with France and the Netherlands and while the United States is no favorite, no team is looking forward to playing them either. The team is still alive to win the group and Thursday marks the last day of the group stage play for teams and there are still four spots open in the next round. Germany has a deep and experienced team and American team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann knows that team all too well after coaching them and winning a World Cup for west Germany years ago.

Ronaldo has a claim as the best player in the world and he led his team to the Champions League title this year with Real Madrid and now he has the chance to be a hero again. Lionel Messi had taken reign as the best player at the World Cup with four goals and he is tied with Neymar for the golden boot and now Ronaldo will have another chance to keep his team alive and they need goals to get it done. Ronaldo had a fantastic cross in the game against the United States and now he has the focus on him and Portugal will need to play their best game.
