The College World Series finals 2014 are live online with a stream from ESPN and the WatchESPN website and the CWS series has the Vanderbilt Commodores up 1-0 as Game 2 kicks off and the Virginia Cavaliers have to find a way to win and the game starts up at 8 pm ET from Omaha at TD Ameritrade Park and a champions of the NCAA baseball tournament could be crowned at the game on Tuesday.

Virginia showed on Monday night that they will not get worried about a deficit and after Vandy hit the Cavaliers pitching hard for nine runs, the team made a great comeback. Vanderbilt coach Tim Corbin said the team was lucky to win and gave a ton of credit to the Cavs for not giving up and pushing things through the game, scoring three runs in the third inning, two in the fifth and then another in the eighth and the game ended up 9-8 at the end.

Vandy is now 1-0 in the finals series against Virginia and finally a team was able to bounce the pitching of the Cavs and Nathan Kirby, who was lights out for this tournament. Virginia now has the chance to bounce back with a win and if they get the victory in Omaha, there will be a Game 3 for the championship coming on Wednesday. The Commodores know what's at stake and the baseball team would love to be the first to win a championship for the school and now they are one away and this comes after Jared Miller ended up with the win.

Tyler Campbell has been a revelation and he came in after having just 21 at bats during the season and delivered a huge hit in the game to get the team into this matchup and now he is doing is again. Campbell came in and took over for Xavier Turner after some NCAA stuff and he was out and that put Campbell into the spotlight and he ended up putting the team up 9-2 with a double with the bases loaded in that inning and those extra runs were surely needed. Kirby had a rough go of things for the first time in a while and he let up a number of runs in that inning and then things got out of hand. He was not as sharp as usual and he had over half his pitches go for balls and that put the game out of reach.

At one point Virginia was down by a run late and they had a hard shot in the middle and relief pitcher John Kilichowski was able to redirect the ball to stay close enough so the team couldn't score and that kept the lead intact. The matchup was the highest scoring game in the CWS at TD Ameritrade Park and that was welcome for many of the fans that have seen tight, but exciting games. It was the most runs in an inning since 2008 at the old park and this was the most runs for the Cavaliers against since back in the supers last year, as they have been pitching very well all tourney.
