The Round of 16 will begin on June 28 and those matches lead into the quarterfinals and those start up on July 4. The semifinals are on Jun 8 and July 9, while the finals game will be on July 13 and the third place game is the day before on the schedule. Costa Rica made a surprising run to the knockout round after winning their first two games and they have been very impressive, winning matches over two teams that have previously won World Cup championships. The team won over Italy and that came after Costa Rica won over Uruguay in their first matchup and England is the other team in that group and they are eliminated.
