Atlanta Braves vs. Colorado Rockies Live Stream: Watch Online MLB National League Games Streaming 3:10 PM ET

The Colorado Rockies found their long-lost offense on Wednesday as they defeated the Braves with strong production at the plate. The team is now seeking back-to-back wins for the first time in over three weeks as they aim to split the series with the Atlanta Braves. Can the NL East team bounce back with Ervin Santana on the mound?

The Rockies have lost 13 of 16, but they came alive at the plate on Wednesday. In the past eight contests they have grown an increasingly better offense, putting up a .296 combined average with 42 runs altogether. However, they remain 2-6 in that stretch. Injuries to Carlos Gonzalez, Michael Cuddyer and Nolan Arenado have not helped the effort.

The Rockies are helping their pitchers out with 5.46 runs of support per game, but that has not been the case with Jhoulys Chacin. He has been getting just 2.33 per game in seven starts this season. He is currently 0-4 with a 5.35 ERA. He is coming off a game of six scoreless innings against the Dodgers and is hoping the Rockies can keep up their plate production to help him get a long awaited win.

The Braves will rely on Santana to hold off the bats. The pitcher is 5-2 with a 3.69 ERA. A win against the Rockies would put the Braves in a tie for the NL East lead with the Washington Nationals after falling one behind on Wednesday. The pitcher is coming off his best outing in awhile. He gave up just one unearned run in seven innings, but the Braves lost in extras.

Evan Gattis is helping the effort. He is on a 13-game hit streak right now. He is currently batting .383 with five home runs and 13 RBIs during his current streak.
