The Boston Celtics are dealing with Rajon Rondo trade rumors this summer and until the team signs him long term they will and teams like the Houston Rockets, NY Knicks, LA Lakers and Phoenix Suns all could be in the mix and players like Jeremy Lin, Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger, Avery Bradley and Kris Humphries could get traded and this comes as the Boston Celtics are in on the Kevin Love trade rumors and that could make for a very interesting summer.

Rondo is looking to stay in Boston, but the team may end up trading him if they get a deal they like and Danny Ainge has to decide what course of action to take. The team could be in on the Kevin Love trade, but that likely means Rondo will stay and Love also has to decide what he wants to ask for of his team, as he has not totally demanded a trade yet, but he has made his future intentions known of opting out.

The Houston Rockets want Love and they want Rondo and they will have to smart to make those moves and they will need to trade Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik to do it. The Rcokets also want to be in Carmelo Anthony and they are likely to make one of these moves happen, as Daryl Morey is motivated to create his own big 3 and what the team does with Chandler Parsons will have an impact.

The Celtics have been mentioned quite a bit in trade rumors this offseason centering around Rondo and Jeff Green and while so far no traction has been made, other teams like the Houston Rockets, NY Knicks and Lakers have shown interest in Rondo. According to Pro Basketball Talk, the Celtics like Aaron Gordon with the number six pick and the team ended up in a solid spot in the lottery after the Cavaliers jumped ahead and screwed everyone by getting the top pick for the second straight season.

The Rockets went 54-28 last season and got upset by the Blazers in the playoffs and now Morey will be looking to keep things going this year as he builds around Howard and Harden together in year two of that duo. Getting Howard was step one and now the team needs to add another star while also getting better on defense. Rondo looked good after coming off of a serious injury and he played in 30 games for the Celtics after coming back and he looks recovered and ready for this season.

The Celtics and every other team in the top 10 has been connected to trades involving their picks and Boston likely will not move the pick unless it's for Kevin Love or if Gordon is taken before the pick. The report says that the Celtics are enamored with his skills and size and that they feel the Arizona freshman could be a franchise player for GM Danny Ainge. The team is still looking to lock up Rajon Rondo with a long term deal and if they sit tight and draft Gordon, they would have put together a solid young crop of talent over the past two seasons. Gordon is just 19 years old and that youth could be big for the Celtics and with players like Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins ahead of him, Gordon could slip out of the top five and into the Celtics hands.

Morey almost had a deal with the Boston Celtics last season for Rondo involving Asik, but the Celts did not want to take all that money without getting someone like Parsons. The Rockets will have to move Lin and Asik as well as other players to get things going for one of these deals and if all else fails, they could try and convince Anthony to sign. The Knicks feel they have the best chance to sign Anthony since they can give him the most money and longest contract, but after missing the playoffs this year and taking a massive step back overall, he could be on his way out of town.
