The Kevin Love trade rumors have already started to dominate the conversation before the NBA offseason has started and with teams like the Chicago Bulls and Warriors considered favorite destinations for the star, teams like the Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, NY Knicks, LA Lakers and Phoenix Suns all could be in the mix for a deal with the Timberwolves.

The Golden State Warriors have been mentioned in the Kevin Love trade rumors as a team that Love would be open to playing for and if the Timberwolves want to deal, players like for Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut and Draymond Green will likely come up in talks and this comes as Steve Kerr was just hired to take over and this could be a major move if Love heads to northern Cali over the Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets or LA Lakers.

Kevin Love is not actually on the market yet in a trade or as a free agent, but he might as well be since everyone in the league knows that he wants out of Minnesota eventually. The Timberwolves have done a good job at sticking to their guns and trying to convince Love to stay in Minnesota, but as he nears free agency that is looking more and more unlikely and that means he will be on his way out of town either in a trade or as a free agent next summer. The Wolves signed Love to an extension and hoped that they would be good enough to convince him to stay, but so far that has not happened.

According to ESPN.com, Love is looking to get out of Minnesota sooner rather than later and that could mean a trade this summer or at the trading deadline next season. Love can opt out of his contract next summer and he is guaranteed to do that if the Wolves don't trade him, meaning they must decide soon what to do. The team is entering Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard territory, as they run the risk of losing their star for nothing, or they could trade him like the Nuggets and Magic did with their stars.

A report from Marc Stein writes that Love is looking to get out of the Wolves situation and that the Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls are two teams that he would be interested in playing for. Owner Glen Taylor wants Love to remain and the team may wait until it has no other choice but to make a deal. The team likely will keep him through next season into the trading deadline and if they are not contending next season, it's very likely that he will be traded. The Warriors could be an option since they have supreme talent to deal in Thompson and Barnes, while teams like the Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns have also been mentioned since they have the first round picks to make a move worthwhile.
