Nigeria and Scotland are playing a World Cup international friendly on the schedule Wednesday before the Brazil tournament and the matchup starts at 3 pm ET from Craven Cottage and the matchup is huge for Nigeria as they prepare for Brazil and the game will be streaming online with a live stream from GolTV and the warm-up comes as many of the other 32 teams are playing matches before the WC.

Nigeria later has a matchup with the United States men's national team and that will be the last warm-up for the teams before the Brazil 2014 tournament. Nigeria comes in with a tough slate for the tournament and they had a friendly match with Mexico in March, drawing 0-0 with the Mexican team and now they are trying to get things going at Craven Cottage before playing against Greece in their next match and that will be on June 3 and is at PPL Park. The final matchup will be at EverBank Field as the two teams prepare to head to the World Cup.

Nigeria has a tough group to deal with in the tournament, as they have to play Iran, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Argentina and that means dealing with Lionel Messi. The team will play the US in Jacksonville for the friendly matchup and they have that on June 7 after the Greece game. Nigeria opens up with Iran in the first matchup for them in Group F and that comes before the team plays Bosnia and then they will matchup with Messi for their final match in the group stages. Scotland missed out on the tournament and they come in after drawing with the US in November and winning 1-0 against Norway after that and then 1-0 against Poland in the next friendly match and that was in March.

The United States is looking forward to the friendly match against Nigeria, as they just played against Azerbaijan and while that was a solid test, the team is ranked 85th in FIFA and they need a bigger test coming in. Supposedly there was some match fixing going on and the match for Scotland and Nigeria was investigated as one of the warm-ups heading into Brazil. Nigeria head coach Stephen Keshi said the team is ready for Messi and they will have a tough task when the two teams face off on June 25 in Porto Alegre.
