The San Antonio Spurs are up 2-0 over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the western conference finals and now the team can take a 3-0 series lead with a win in Game 3 in OKC and that would en an insurmountable advantage for Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook to overcome, making the next game a must-win matchup and that will be Sunday at 8:30 pm ET.

The Spurs come into Game 3 after getting 22 points from Tony Parker and he has been the focal point of the team for the entire playoffs and he is one of the main reasons why they are up 2-0 against the Thunder. Tim Duncan has been playing like a younger version of himself and he had 12 rebounds and Parker had five assists in the last game and now the head into OKC looking to keep things going and this comes after the team lost all four to the Thunder during the regular season. The team is playing without Serge Ibaka and that has been a huge impact on defense and that has enabled both games to be blowouts and has led to the Spurs domination this series.

The playoffs have been a back and forth affair in the west for the most part, but in the conference finals it has been all Spurs and now it looks like it will be a rematch of last season's championship with the Miami Heat. The Indiana Pacers are now down 2-1 in the eastern conference finals to the Miami Heat after they made another comeback in the fourth quarter and dominated and now they have the advantage heading into the next matchup.

The Thunder and the Spurs are on the other side of things in the west and that series is starting to take a turn, as OKC is down 2-0 and they have not been in either game to start the series. The team is playing without Serge Ibaka and it has starter to show and the next game in that series will be on Tuesday after the matchup on Sunday and that comes in Oklahoma City after the first two games in San Antonio.

The Spurs have been one of the most consistent teams in the NBA this season and they have shown why through their defense and the way they use the bench and that is why they are leading the Thunder by two games. Kevin Durant comes into the game after scoring 15 points and struggling in the last matchup and he will need to return to MVP form to get things back on track. The Thunder came back from two games down after losing to the first two matchups a couple years ago against the Spurs, but this is not the same Oklahoma City team and it surely is not the same San Antonio team.
