The Milwaukee Brewers got the bats moving against the Atlanta Braves in their second game of the series as the team won 6-1 after getting blown out in the first game. Prior to Wednesday's win, the Brewers had put together just five runs while losing four games. However, they responded with 10 hits, beating up on the Braves. The Brewers could have a harder time doing that on Thursday as they try and figure out Aaron Harang who baffled them early in the season.

Harang had his season debut against the Brewers back in April and gave up just two hits over six innings for a 1-0 win. He is currently 4-4 on the season with a 2.98 ERA. Against the Brewers he is 2-1 with a 1.42 ERA in his last five starts. After giving up a grand slam to Mark Reynolds and a two-run homer to Carlos Gomez on Wednesday night, the Braves need another solid outing from Harang to get back on track.

The Brewers will send Matt Garza to the mound who faced Harang in the last matchup. He certainly had his success against Atlanta, giving up just two hits in eight innings. Chris Johnson got the lone home run off Garza for the win. The pitcher is 0-3 with a 4.50 ERA in his career against the Braves. If the Braves are going to beat him again, they need to do it early. Garza is having first inning woes. He gave up three runs in the first against the Chicago Cubs, but only allowed two more baserunners for the remaining seven innings. Opponents are currently hitting .316 off Garza in the first inning, but just .241 after that.

The Braves will ride the bat of Justin Upton. He went 3 or 4 on Wednesday, giving Atlanta their only run. He is currently 8 for 14 with seven RBI in his last four games even though he has struggled against Garza in his career. Meanwhile Jason Heyward has a nine game hitting streak with a .353 average.
