Cleveland Browns receiver Greg Little (18) is taken down by Miami Dolphins defenders Dannell Ellerbe (59) and Nolan Carroll during the fourth quarter of their NFL football game in Cleveland, Ohio September 8, 2013. "

The NFL free agent market is thin at a number of positions and now Greg Little is the top wide receiver in free agency and names like Santonio Holmes, Felix Jones, Jermichael Finley and Eric Winston are also available and teams like the Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears or Oakland Raiders could be interested in signing them.

Little never missed a game for the Browns, but over three seasons he was a bit of a disappointment and now he is on the free agent market. Last season Little had 41 catches for 465 yards with two touchdowns and Cleveland felt they would be better off adding Miles Austin and Earl Bennett over keeping Little. The Browns may lose Josh Gordon for the season to a drug suspension and that production will be hard to make up, even with the team signing Nate Burleson and Andrew Hawkins in the offseason. Teams like the Seahawks, Niners and Giants could be options for Little, while the Dolphins also could be in the mix even after they signed Jarvis Landry.

The Carolina Panthers look to make sense, as they lost Steve Smith and basically every other wideout they had in free agency. The team drafted Kelvin Benjamin in the first round and that will help, but there is much more that the team needs from the position and Little could help with that. Little has gone down in yards and receptions in each of the last three seasons and that is never good, but he still could come in and help the Panthers.

Last season the team did not have much behind Steve Smith and Brandon LaFell and adding Little could end up paying off big on the back end. Little has been able to remain on the field and has not missed a game in his career and he has amassed 155 catches for 1,821 yards and eight touchdowns in three seasons. Gordon had over 1,600 yards last season to lead the league and that left Little in the dust a bit, but now a change of scenery could be the best option for him as he tries to get his career going again.

Burleson is dealing with an injury and with Gordon out, the Browns have to rely more on Hawkins as well as Austin and Bennett and they will need Miles to remain healthy. The team had the chance to select Sammy Watkins and passed that up and now Johnny Manziel will have to try and get things going without Gordon in the lineup, although reports say he will be at OTA workouts.
