Manny Pacquiao may have his next fight ready, as Juan Manuel Marquez may end up as his next opponent on the schedule, as the boxer won a matchup with Mike Alvarado and was dominant and now a rematch between the two fighters for Pacquiao-Marquez V could be in the cards, as Marquez won a welterweight title elimination fight on Saturday in the Forum in California and now Pacquiao could be next.

Pacquiao comes in after his battle with Timothy Bradley that was a rematch and now Marquez could be getting himself ready for that matchup again, as he was dominant and dropped Alvarado in the eighth round of the matchup. Marquez fought in front of 12,000 people at the Forum and the judges scored it in his favor with some nice scores and he ended up with more punches thrown and many more landed and his percentage on hits was way better as well.

Marquez will be looking to get back into the ring and Pacquiao could be the man for it, as the record between the two in their fights is 2-1-1 and in favor of Manny, while Marquez won one definitive match among a number of controversial results. Marquez said that he felt good at the fight and he was 12-0 at the Forum in the past in the 90s and now he could be shaping up for another big matchup. Pacquiao took back his welterweight title from Bradley in the matchup in April and that put him back on top and now the two may fight again.

Marquez has 40 KOs under his belt and a record of 56-7-1 and now the two could matchup later, although Marquez said after the fight that he was not thinking about fighting Manny next. The fight between the two could be the next big matchup in boxing, because Floyd Mayweather will not fight Pacquiao and he earned over $1 million for the match and this one was lopsided and he really started to turn things in the third round against Alvarado, who was hit early and often before getting more aggressive late.
