Just a few weeks ago, the San Francisco Giants swept the Atlanta Braves at home as the team was in the midst of a long losing streak. The Braves are hoping to return the favorable slightly as they aim to take two of three against the team while on the road. The Braves finally ended a five-game losing streak on Tuesday, getting the shutout against the Giants and finally getting their offense moving, But can the team keep it up with Julio Teheran taking the mound?

The Giants have gotten three home runs off Teheran so far this season. The pitcher is the most impressive in the Braves rotation at the moment, currently with a 2-2 record and 1.71 ERA. However, Teheran is getting just 2.64 run-support average and the Braves are losing as a result. Over his past five states, he has gotten just six runs from the Braves offense. Against San Francisco, he is 2-1 with a 2.70 ERA. Early in the month he gave up three solo home runs in seven innings and the Giants are hoping to get him on the ropes again. In his other seven starts, Teheran has just four home runs to his name.

After the rough San Francisco outing, Teheran bounced back against the Chicago Cubs. He gave up just one home run in eight innings while striking out nine in the process. Brandon Belt is 5 for 9 against the pitcher while Buster Posey is 6 for 9.

The Giants went 0 for 7 with runners in scoring position on Tuesday. Prior to the loss they had won four of five games and 14 of 18 overall. They failed to get anything moving as Posey failed to get a hit for just the third time in 15 games. Madison Bumgarner will take the mound after allowing just one earned run over 14 innings. However, Bumgarner is not good at home. He has a 5.87 ERA in three starts at home while having a 1.39 ERA on the road.
