The Denver Broncos could be in the market for a running back heading into training camp and a trade for someone like Mark Ingram or BenJarvus Green-Ellis would give the team a nice veteran boost heading into the summer, while teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars also could be interested in trading for one of the RBs.

The Broncos have a solid back in Montee Ball, but he is only in his second season and with Knowshon Moreno also leaving for the Dolphins, the team has some depth issues at the position. The Broncos have Peyton Manning so the rushing game isn't necessarily a huge focus for the team, but having a consistent attack opens things up in the passing game and that is what Moreno did. Last season he put up career high numbers across the board, but he also showed that he improved as a pass blocker and that is one reason why the Broncos could go for a trade.

The team likes what Ball can do and he may end up being the starter, but someone like Ingram or Green-Ellis could be a nice option for Manning as he tries to push towards another Super Bowl appearance. Last season the Broncos ranked 15th in rushing yards per game, but for most of the year they were near the bottom of the league and while Moreno didn't put up eye popping numbers, his stats were very good for the type of offense the Broncos run and they may need more than just Ball and Ronnie Hillman in the backfield.

Ingram is an interesting option and he could be traded after the Saints did not pick up the option on his contract, but that appears unlikely after the team also dealt Darren Sproles to the Eagles. The team loves Pierre Thomas and he will be the starter anyway and they could survive without Ingram since they also like Khiry Robinson at running back. Ingram has dealt with injury issues during his career with the Saints and while he had a nice performance last season with a career high against the Cowboys, he missed time with a foot injury and has only 1,462 yards with 11 touchdowns in 37 career games.

The Bengals have an interesting option with Green-Ellis, as they drafted Giovani Bernard last season and now have added Jeremy Hill to the mix. SI.com writes that Ellis is one player on notice after the draft and the Bengals may like what they see from Hill, who was very productive with over 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.

The Saints did not pick up the option on Ingram and that makes him trade bait and teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals and Steelers all could be interested in making a move after finishing in the bottom half of the league in rushing last season. The Cardinals have Andre Ellington and Stepfan Taylor after drafting them last season, but with Rashard Mendenhall and Ryan Williams gone, they could use some veteran depth.
