Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant (35) goes to the basket between Los Angeles Clippers forward Glen Davis (0) and Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin (32) in the first quarter of game five of the second round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs at Chesapeake Energy Arena. "

The Oklahoma City Thunder won over the LA Clippers for a 3-2 series lead in the NBA playoffs standings and now the team heads to Los Angeles leading the series after the Game 6 win and now LA must try to force a Game 7 to stay alive in the western conference playoffs and it all ended after a great game from Kevin Durant as well as Blake Griffin and some clutch work from Chris Paul.

The Thunder took a one point lead after a foul from Chris Paul on Russell Westbrook and he sank all three foul shots to give the team a one point lead and the Clippers had the ball with six seconds to go. The Clippers never got a shot off and now the team has a lead heading into Game 6. Durant was 3 for 17 at one point and he had 10 points over the final three minutes and he helped the team comeback from a double digit deficit and that mirrored what the Clippers had done to the Thunder previously.

The end of the game got crazy, as Kevin Durant was able to cut the lead to two and then the team pulled off a steal and got a look from Russell Westbrook on a three point shot and he ended up on the line with three free throws. Westbrook had 35 points before sinking the first foul shot and the team benefited from a good call from the officials that gave them a deflection when it probably should have been the Clippers ball.

The Thunder were down seven at one point and they were able to cut it to two with just 11 seconds left and after that a crazy chain of events played out and at one point they had a 17-3 run to get the lead with seconds to go. Griffin came into the final stretch with one of his best games and he was 10-20 shooting into the final minute and had 24 points with 17 rebounds, while Chris Paul had 14 assists.
