The Indiana Pacers made an epic comeback against the Washington Wizards on Sunday night and the NBA playoffs standings now has Indy up 3-1 in the series heading into Game 5 of the eastern conference semifinals and that was the second major comeback of the day after the Los Angeles Clippers made a historic comeback against the Oklahoma City Thunder to tie that series 2-2.

The Wizards jumped to a 19-point lead and they outscored the Pacers 29 to 11 in the second quarter and that led to a response right away from Indiana, as they bounced back and outscored the Wiz 33 to 17 coming out of halftime and that propelled them to the win. Paul George had a fantastic game for the Pacers with 39 points and 12 rebounds and he also added two steals in the game to help give the Pacers the lead in the series and now they are in control heading back home to Indiana.

The team made a comeback from 19 points down and that came after the Clippers made a comeback earlier in the day from 22 points back and now the Pacers have the chance to end their series in the next game. Roy Hibbert has continued to bounce back from his zero point performance from a couple games ago and he had 17 points and nine rebounds and George ended up playing in 46 minutes of the game and he also had seven threes in the game and that was huge for the Pacers as they made their comeback, as he had 28 points in the final two quarters of the game.

The Clippers won after getting 25 points from Blake Griffin, while Kevin Durant had 40 points in the game. Bradley Beal scored 20 points and had five rebounds, five assists and three steals in the game and now the Wizards must bounce back to stay alive in the second round.
