Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M) gestures on stage after being selected as the number twenty-two overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns at Radio City Music Hall. "

The NFL draft in 2014 is underway and the full picks for all 32 selections in the first round can be found below along with the schedule for the second and third rounds, which pick up on Friday and the TV coverage will be handled by ESPN and it also has a live stream online from WatchESPN and this comes after a great 1st round with Jadeveon Clowney and Johnny Manziel getting drafted.

The first pick was an expected one with Clowney going to the Texans and after that it played out the same with Greg Robinson to the Rams and Blake Bortles to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The fourth pick was the first surprise and that saw the Bills trade up and grab Sammy Watkins and that allowed the Browns to move back and they picked Kyle Fuller with the eighth pick after switching with the Minnesota Vikings following the Bills trade.

The Browns later picked Johnny Manziel and now they are looking good with Gilbert on the outside and Manziel under center, while the Bucs picked his teammate in Mike Evans. The rest of the top 10 saw Anthony Barr to the Vikings and Eric Ebron to the Lions.

Here are some thoughts from before the NFL draft and for some fun let's see how wrong we were. The NFL draft is here, and now the mock drafts, top 10 predictions and first round projections are coming out for real with experts like ESPN analyst Mel Kiper and Todd McShay from making observations and the consensus has Johnny Manziel, Jadeveon Clowney, Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater as the highest rated players.

The quarterback position will be the center of attention once again this year and there are at least five teams among the first 10 picks that could go after a QB and Manziel is expected to be the first one at the position off the board. Some draft experts think that Clowney could be the number one pick and while he impressed in the forty yard dash, some scouts question the season he had and his work ethic leading into the combine.

The Texans have an interesting choice to make and it follows closely the decision they had the last time they picked number one and had to scout both Reggie Bush and Mario Williams. Many saw Bush as a lock for the first pick after his time in college at USC, but instead the team picked Williams, citing the need to build a defense and the fact that Peyton Manning was in their division. This season though, the Texans are in new territory, as Bill O'Brien has taken over as head coach and that means he will be looking for a new QB. The team traded away Matt Schaub and now they could go after another QB.
