Paul George Suspended For Game 7 After Fight? Indiana Pacers Star Could Get Suspension For Stepping Off Bench In George Hill Brawl (Watch Video)

Paul George could be suspended for stepping off the bench and getting onto the court for the brawl between George Hill and Mike Scott and the NBA now has to decide to about a suspension for the Indiana Pacers star for Game 7, as they have previously suspended players like Amar'e Stoudemire for stepping onto the court from the bench during a fight and it would be pathetic and the ultimate hypocrisy by the league if they don't.

The fight happened under the basket near the Pacers bench and George clearly stepped onto the court alongside guard Rasual Butler and while a coach held the players back, they stepped past the line and onto the court and while he could argue he was in the "immediate vicinity" of the bench, as per the rule, he also clearly stepped onto the court.

The NBA has suspended players before and they basically gave the Phoenix Suns a series loss when they did it to Stoudemire years ago and now George could be next. The Atlanta Hawks won Game 5 before losing Game 6 and now George could be suspended for Game 7 if the NBA decides that he broke the rule.

George Hill and Atlanta forward Mike Scott got into it under the basket and they both got technical, but now it's all about whether George will be suspended and the NBA will likely look for any way it can to not do that.

According to NBA rules: "During an altercation, all players not participating in the game must remain in the immediate vicinity of their bench. Violators will be suspended, without pay, for a minimum of one game and fined up to $50,000."
