Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin (32) controls the ball between Golden State Warriors forward David Lee (10), forward Draymond Green (23), guard Stephen Curry (30), forward Harrison Barnes (40) and forward Andre Iguodala (9) during the fourth quarter of game four of the first round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs at Oracle Arena. The Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 118-97. Los Angeles Clippers players staged a protest at a playoff game on Sunday against racist comments allegedly made by team owner Donald Sterling, turning their warm-up jerseys inside-out to hide the team name before a loss to the Golden State Warriors. The silent demonstration came as Sterling faced a firestorm of criticism over a 10-minute recording obtained by celebrity news website TMZ in which a man reported to be the NBA owner tells Stiviano not to post photographs of herself with black people online and not to bring African-Americans to Clippers games. "Mr Sterling is emphatic that what is reflected on that recording is not consistent with, nor does it reflect his views, beliefs or feelings," Clippers President Andy Roeser said in a statement. "

The NBA Playoffs schedule has the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors playing Game 5 of their playoffs series to get to 3-2 on Tuesday night at the Staples Center after the Donald Sterling situation and that puts a harsh spotlight on things, while the Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder are also playing in a Game 5 matchup and that will be on OKC and both series are tied 2-2 and the winners will be in position to close out the series on Thursday.

The Clippers game starts up at 10:30 and the matchup will be on TNT after the Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls play and that series can end on Tuesday. The Clippers are playing in a very tough situation after the news from over the weekend and on Sunday they had to play with a ton on their shoulders in Golden State and that was one reason why many thought that the team did not play well in the matchup. The Clippers came into that game with momentum after taking the lead in Game 3, but the Sterling news overtook everything and now they have a ton on their shoulders and all the team wants to do is play basketball. The Clippers pulled a silent protest before the game on Sunday and they could do something again on Tuesday night, but it remains to be seen what will happen.

The NBA has asked Donald Sterling to not be at the game on Tuesday at the Staples Center and now tons of sponsors have pulled their contracts after what happened. The NBA likely will suspend Sterling indefinitely on Tuesday and Adam Silver will then be able to take his time to mete out punishment and figure out what's next. The NBA is in a tough situation, as they have been having one of the best first rounds of all time, but everyone keeps talking about the Sterling situation.

Everyone has weighed in and the players like Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are the face of the Clippers and they have more than just basketball to worry about now.  The other games on the Tuesday schedule include the Bulls and Wizards in Game 5 and Washington has a lead in that series and can close it out, while the Memphis Grizzlies and OKC Thunder are the second game on the schedule and that series is tied 2-2 after the Oklahoma City Thunder won on Sunday.

The Miami Heat were the first team through to the second round in the east or western conference and now they have the chance to wait and rest for the other series to finish. The team plays against the Brooklyn Nets or the Toronto Raptors and that series is in Game 5 as well and now it's a best of three and if the Nets win out, that helps Miami, as they are an older team that will be fatigued while they have been able to rest. The Clippers and Warriors series is about more than basketball and on Tuesday LA will try and get things in order on the court before things take shape off it.
