The Miami Dolphins are coming into the draft with a number of needs on offense and defense and with rumors of a possible Dion Jordan or Mike Wallace trade ahead of the event, there is a good chance the team looks to the wide receiver position, as names like Marqise Lee, Kelvin Benjamin, Brandin Cooks and Eric Ebron could be targets for new general manager Dennis Hickey.

The Dolphins have the number 19 pick in the first round of the draft and they may look to trade up or down depending on what happens leading into the event. According to Pro Football Talk, the team has shopped both Dion Jordan and Mike Wallace this offseason and while no trade has gone down yet, the team could look to make a move since they have a straight draft of just seven picks coming in and they weren't awarded any compensatory picks after making a number of free agent signings last season.

ESPN.com writes that the team could look at a quarterback in the later rounds of the draft, as names like Aaron Murray, Zach Mettenberger, Tom Savage and AJ McCarron could be available and while they won't be taking over the starting job for Ryan Tannehill, it could be an option for Hickey. The way the new draft wage scale works, teams can draft extra quarterbacks and not worry about paying them an exorbitant amount of money and that could be an option this year.

The draft is deep at a number of positions this season, including at wide receiver and running back and those are two areas where the team could look. Wallace was a disappointment last year and even if they don't trade him, Hickey wants to add more depth behind him and Brian Hartline and names like Lee, Mike Evans, Benjamin, Allen Robinson and tight end Eric Ebron could be options. Ebron is an athletic freak, while Lee put up some great numbers with USC with 57 passes for 791 yards and four touchdowns and Benjamin comes in as a huge target in the red zone after making 15 touchdown catches last year.

Brandin Cooks could be a very interesting option and he may be available at number 19 and he comes in after an amazing season, putting up 128 catches for over 1,600 yards and he could be a great deep threat in the mold of DeSean Jackson. The Dolphins ranked 26th in the league in rushing last season and that means they also could go after names like Carlos Hyde, Andre Williams, Tre Mason or Jeremy Hill, as they all could be available in round two. Hyde rushed for over 1,500 yards last season at Ohio State, while Mason was wildly productive at Auburn, going for over 1,800 yards and 23 touchdowns while making it to the national title game. Williams rushed for over 2,000 yards last season, while Hill was also very productive at LSU with 1,401 yards and 16 touchdowns last season.
