NBA Playoffs Standings Postseason: Blake Griffin Leads Clippers To Win For 1-1 Series As Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets Go For 2-0 In First Round

The NBA playoffs standings heading into the game on Tuesday night has the Atlanta Hawks over the Indiana Pacers as they play in Game 2, while the Brooklyn Nets lead the Toronto Raptors and the Washington Wizards are on top of the Chicago Bulls and this comes after the Golden State Warriors lost to the Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies beat the Oklahoma City Thunder to tie those series at 1-1 heading into the week.

The games in the playoffs so far have been very exciting and some of the overtime games have been back and forth, including the Grizzlies and Thunder matchup from Monday, which was easily the best so far. The Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets played a great Game 1 as well, while the Warriors got stomped out after winning over the Clippers in their first game. The games on Wednesday has the Charlotte Bobcats and Miami Heat going at it for their second game and that comes after the Cats played LeBron James and company tight in the first game but they couldn't pull ahead to get the series lead.

Kemba Walker played very well in his first playoff action and he led his team in scoring, while James once again was the leader as Miami started their title defense. The San Antonio Spurs have been one of the best teams over the past decade and they were tops in the NBA with 62 wins and they started off their postseason with a victory as well, beating the Dallas Mavericks in a close game. The Mavericks haven't won on the road in San Antonio for a number of years and Wednesday will be their next chance to get one.

The western conference playoffs continue with the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers in Game 2 on Wednesday as well and the Blazers got the win in Game 1 of that series after a high scoring game in overtime. LaMarcus Aldridge was fantastic and had 46 points and 18 rebounds before fouling out, while Dwight Howard and James Harden had 27 points each for the Rockets. That series had the potential to be the highest scoring and most exciting of the playoffs, as both teams were ranked in the top 10 in scoring by points per game this season.

The Tuesday schedule will have a lot going on in the east, as the Pacers will try and avenge their loss against the Atlanta Hawks in Game 1 of the series and that ended up not even being close. The Pacers played to get that number one seed at the end of the season, but it appears their second half struggles have continued into the postseason. Paul George and Roy Hibbert have not been themselves since April and now the team has to pull together to avoid going down 2-0 and losing the first two games at home.
