The Kentucky Wildcats and UConn Huskies are playing in the NCAA basketball national championship on Monday night and the tournament matchup on CBS is streaming online from the March Madness website and comes live at 9:10 pm ET from AT&T Stadium from Arlington and the North Texas site has been for the Final Four as John Calipari and Connecticut coach Kevin Ollie go at it.

UConn has been playing very well this season and they are getting hot at the right time and one reason they have been so good is the play of Shabazz Napier, who has taken over since before the Sweet 16. Playing in the NCAA tournament in New York at Madison square Garden energized the team and now Napier, along with DeAndre Daniels gives the team two stars that could take over on Monday night.

The Huskies come into the game after taking down Florida and that was an upset since the Gators were the number one team overall in the tournament, but when looked at more closely, not much of one at all. Yes, the Gators were the top seed in the tourney, but they came out of the SEC and after starting a 30-game winning streak and winning their conference tournament, they lost to UConn, the team that beat them in December to start that winning streak. The Gators biggest nemesis this season was UConn and now Billy Donovan and his team are home. The Huskies come in with some strong players up front and they also had Napier, while Scottie Wilbekin and Patric Young couldn't get things together for the Gators.

Florida came in with one of the best defensive units in the nation, but they couldn't get back into the game when the Huskies seemingly could not miss a shot and now it will be UConn and Kentucky for the championship. UConn comes in allowing just 63 points per game and they are averaging over six blocks and seven steals and that style of defense was key against Florida and they will need to do the same again.

The Wildcats were the preseason number one team coming into the year and now Julius Randle and Aaron Harrison have shown why, as both players have performed very well in the tournament and they now have the chance to win a championship. Harrison has hit game winners in the past few games and Randle has been a beast on the boards and he will go up against DeAndre Daniels, who scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds in the Final Four for Connecticut.

Kentucky has been one of the best teams throughout the tournament when it comes to offense and that has powered them through and they are also ranked fifth in the nation in rebounds per game and that will be a huge thing to watch on Monday night. The team is in the top 10 in clocks per game with six per contest and the two sides will be looking to be aggressive early against each other, as the two teams have the stars to score and to play lock down defense.
