Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland are playing on the English Premier League schedule on Monday and the match for the Spurs is streaming live from White Hart Lane and comes at 3 pm ET and 8 pm local time on the NBC Sports Live Extra website for the final game of the EPL week.

The Spurs come into the game after a tough loss away against Liverpool and that was at the Anfield and now they are trying to get a positive result for manager Tim Sherwood, as he has been under plenty of pressure this season. The team won over Southampton and drew with Benfica in the Europa League and that cane after a loss at home at White Hart Lane against Arsenal. Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado have been the two best players for the team this year and they will need to come through again on Monday.

Tottenham is looking to get back on track heading into the back part of the schedule, as they play against West Brom next and that is away before the team comes back to host Fulham. The team then plays against Stoke City and West Ham on the road and then they will finish the season against Aston Villa and that will end the year at White Hart Lane for the Spurs. The schedule finishes up after the games on Sunday and the win by Liverpool put the Reds back in first place and that came after Chelsea won on Saturday and now they are trying to battle for first place heading down the stretch this season.

Sunderland comes in at the bottom of the league table and they are in relegation and they have to start winning now for any chance at getting out. The Black Cats have been struggling this season and they have to win three of the next eight for a chance to remain in the EPL and with only six wins in the league this season, that will be very tough for the team and they are seven points out of being safe and they will need a change very quickly to save themselves.

Adam Johnson has been the most consistent player for the team this season and he leads with eight goals and four assists and they are coming into the game after a loss at home against West Ham United. Before that, the team lost away at Liverpool and that came after a shutout against Norwich and a draw with Crystal Palace and losses to man City and Arsenal, but before that, the team won 1-0 at home to Southampton at the Stadium of Light. Chelsea remains in second on the league table behind first place Liverpool and they are ahead of Manchester City, who has two matches in hand, while Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United are next ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and they are one point back of the Red Devils in that spot.
