The First Four for the NCAA Tournament 2014 are on schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday and the first round coverage and TV start time for the games comes on truTV from Turner and begins at 6:40 pm ET with Albany taking on Mount St. Mary's and then after that at 9:10 pm ET, 12 seeds in North Carolina State and Xavier will play for the right to get into the second round and the first real games of the tourney.

The first round as the NCAA so smartly calls it has four games and two will be on Tuesday before the next two on Wednesday and those matchups have California Poly taking on Texas Southern, while Iowa and Tennessee will be playing in a matchup of 11 seeds, because again, that is a very smart idea from the NCAA as usual. These games will tip off on the same day as NIT Tournament and the first round will be from UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio and will be the official start to March Madness and the NCAA tournament.

Albany is the favorite in their game and they have been playing well this season, while the Iowa and Tennessee matchup is an interesting one as well since both are from major conferences. Mt Saint Mary's comes in ranking 11th in three pointers per game and that could be a big factor in the game, while Mount St. Mary's beat Robert Morris last season in the Northwest conference championship and both teams in the game got automatic bids to the tourney.

The actual tournament starts on Thursday and some games that will be in action include Ohio State taking on Dayton, while Syracuse plays against Western Michigan and Florida will be awaiting the winner of the Albany game to see who they play as a number one seed. Pitt and Colorado are playing, while Michigan and Wofford are matching up and the late game on the day is San Diego State and New Mexico State facing off.
