The San Francisco 49ers have taken a methodical approach to free agency this offseason and after signing back Anquan Boldin to a deal, the team could be looking at names like Target LeGarrette Blount, Sidney Rice, Kenny Britt, Antonio Cromartie and Robert Ayers, while a draft pick trade is likely in the cards at some point for Jim Harbaugh after the way the team has operated in recent years.

The team has a bit of a hole at cornerback now that Tarrell Brown has signed with the Oakland Raiders and now it's likely that the team will look to that position in the draft in May. Harbaugh is known to trade up and he could do that again for someone like Justin Gilbert and is would fit into what he has done in the past with Colin Kaepernick as well as Eric Reid. The team has targets they could go after and ESPN.com reports that Antonio Cromartie is in the mix along with Champ Bailey and those could be players the Niners can get for not too much money.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie signed with the Giants and now he is off the market and there is a chance that the Niners could look to bring back someone like Carlos Rogers and that could help add depth to the secondary. The team has Eric Wright back along with Chris Culliver and Tramaine Brock, but they need to continue adding at the position and that is why many think the secondary will be a focus for the 49ers in the draft. The team would have gone after Walter Thurmond, but he too signed with the Giants.

The Niners had a need at wide receiver after signing back Boldin and while they lost out on James Jones and Emmanuel Sanders, they could look to names like Santonio Holmes, Sidney Rice and Kenny Britt. Michael Crabtree is still a year removed from his surgery and while they have two top names, the team needs more depth at the position and that is another area of focus for the draft, as the WR class is deep this year. The team could look to trade up, as names like Mike Evans, Marqise Lee and Kelvin Benjamin will be available and those are likely first round picks this year. The Niners have double digit picks again and this could be a way to put them to good use.

The team has already lost Donte Whitner and Brown and while they added Blaine Gabbert and Jonathan Martin, Harbaugh still has a number of areas they need to address. Mario Manningham is likely gone after his two injury filled seasons and so is backup Colt McCoy after the Gabbert trade. The team added Chris Cook from the Vikings at corner, but they still need more there and they also lost out on Julian Edelman. The Niners could look to a name like Allen Robinson at the end of the first round if they don't want to trade, but expect Harbaugh to get into the mix once again for a deal.
