Michigan and Michigan State are playing in the Big Ten conference tournament finals on Sunday and the game is starting up at 3:30 pm ET on CBS and is streaming live online for the Spartans and Wolverines from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and the rivals come in after close games in the semis and now this will be for an official spot in the NCAA tournament.

Michigan comes in after a win against Ohio State in the semifinals by three points and they got 18 points from Nik Stauskas against OSU and they come into the game 15-3 in the Big Ten conference. The Wolverines are ranked eighth in the nation and Michigan State is at 22 and this win could give Michigan a chance at getting a top seed after teams like Syracuse and Villanova lost in their conference tourneys. The team is scoring 75 points per game this season and they are ranked in the top 25 in field goal percentage with over 48 percent shooting and the defense has been very solid, allowing just 65 points per game this season.

The team has won all their matchups with Michigan State and now they are going for three in a row and heading into this game the Wolverines have won seven games in a row and eight of the past nine and a number of them have been against ranked teams, including Ohio State, Michigan State and Iowa. The Wolverines defeated Wisconsin when they were ranked third in the nation and the team also defeated Michigan State when they were at that ranking as well and now the rivals face off for the Big Ten tournament championship.

Michigan State comes in after winning against Wisconsin and the team is scoring over 76 points per game and they are ranked sixth in assists per game and 31st in field goal percentage with nearly 48 percent shooting and they have won three of the last four after a tough stretch at the end of the season. MSU dropped a number of games at the end in the Big Ten and now they come in after defeating Northwestern and the Badgers in the tournament.
