The Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC are playing live on the MLS soccer schedule on Saturday and the matchup comes from CenturyLink Field in Washington and the game will be streaming from the NBC Sports Live Extra website and the game starts up at 4:30 pm ET and comes after the team won their opening game of the season against champion Kansas City.

The team has two home games at the Link before heading out for their first road game against Montreal and then they will come back against Columbus. The Portland Timbers are next on the schedule after that and the two teams will face off at Jen-Weld Field after they matched up in the playoffs last season and Portland came out on top in that matchup and that comes before games against Dallas and Chivas USA on the road before another stretch at home for three games and four of the next five and that will give them a chance for a favorable start to the season after making a nice run last year.

Chad Barrett got things started off with a goal late against Kansas City and that gave the team a win to start the season over the champions, as Sporting won the MLS Cup last season. The team is tied for the lead on the table to start the season and they have one win to start along with Dallas, Vancouver and Real Salt Lake and they have a tough slate coming up, while San Jose, LA and Colorado along with Portland are looking for their first wins of the season.

Clint Dempsey is coming into things with high expectations and the US national team is looking for him to play very well this season ahead of the World Cup and now he is one of a number of new players on the team for the Sounders and they have some high expectations coming. The Seahawks won the Super Bowl and the Sounders play in the same stadium and they are hoping for some of the same and their fans are very passionate as well and Dempsey said that he is feeling good after a loan to Fulham and while he didn't score at all while over there and Fulham was bad, losing nearly all their matches, he at least got to get moving with some of the top teams in the EPL. Dempsey said he hoped things went better, but he felt it was necessary to get things going and now he is heading into the season with a chance to get things back on track.
