The Miami Dolphins have been mentioned in trade rumors this offseason and with Chris Johnson looking to get out of Miami, the Titans and the team could pull off a deal for Dion Jordan, Mike Wallace or Cameron Wake, while other teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons and NY Giants could be options for a deal as well.

The Miami Dolphins had a rough finish to the 2013 season and missed the playoffs yet again and as the offseason starts to begin with free agency, Mike Wallace, Cameron Wake and Dion Jordan have all been mentioned in trade rumors after new general manager Dennis Hickey took over for Jeff Ireland.

The original news came from a CBS Sports report that said the team had shopped around last year's number three pick Dion Jordan to gauge his value around the league. According to CBSSports.com, the team has spoken with other teams to see what the value of Jordan could be and the article mentioned that the Dolphins could be "open" to trading Mike Wallace and Cameron Wake, but it did not say the Dolphins were actively shopping those players.

The team is coming off of a rough offensive stretch at the end of the season on top of the Ted Wells report and Richie Incognito situation and now the Dolphins could have a massive makeover in the offseason. The team is expected to have over $30 million in cap space and the team could add to that by moving the large contract of Wallace. The Dolphins could look to use those players as a way to move up in the draft and this season is a very deep one and stacked one with talent and they could try to acquire more picks for the May event.

The Dolphins front office underwent some upheaval with Ireland getting fired and Hickey taking over and the team has major decisions to make on the offensive line, as Jonathan Martin and Incognito are likely not returning, while Bryant McKinnie and Tyson Clabo are free agents and that could mean a complete change at the position.

Jordan was taken with the third overall pick after a trade with the Raiders last season and he did not perform as well as the staff would have liked and that could get the team to trade him to someone like the Eagles, as Chip Kelly had Jordan in college in Oregon where he thrived. Ireland is gone and that is who orchestrated that trade and that is one reason why some have speculated that Hickey could move him despite being such a high pick.

Wallace would be hard to move since he just signed a $60 million deal and he has a $17.25 million cap number and there aren't too many teams that could sustain a hit like that. The Raiders could be the team to do it since they will have around $60 million to play with, but they may not want to pull off a move like that since Wallace had just 73 catches for 930 yards and five touchdowns last season. Wake was very good with 37 tackles along with 8.5 sacks and Jordan finished with two sacks in his first season in the league. The Dolphins ranked 24th in the league in rushing yards allowed last season and 26th in rushing overall and they need to redo the offensive line and the offense after the way they finished the year, scoring just seven points over the final two games.
