Wake Forest and Pittsburgh are playing live in the ACC Conference Tournament on Thursday and the game is streaming for the Panthers in the second round from ESPN and starts on WatchESPN at 2 pm ET from the Greensboro Coliseum and one of the most competitive tourneys of the postseason starts getting into high gear as Duke, North Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia play Friday.

Pittsburgh was previously ranked and they come into the game after a nice win against Clemson and now they have the chance to bolster their resume, as they come in 11-7 in the ACC and now they have the chance to look better with a 23-8 record overall coming in. The team is scoring over 70 points per game this season and they are ranked 19th in the nation in assists per game and they are shooting very well from the field as well, going for over 46 percent and now they will try to get past Wake to head into the next round of the tournament.

Pitt comes into the game after a win in overtime and a loss to NC State and they have won two of the past three games and now they are looking to keep going, as they finished winning three out of their last four and could be a thorn in the side of some of the top teams, as they finished just out of the byes in fifth and now they have the chance to upset one of the big schools if they advance.

Lamar Patterson and Talib Zanna have been the two best players for the team this season and Patterson has been a do it all type player, leading the team in scoring, assists and he is second in rebounding. Patterson is shooting over 44 percent from the field and he is tops with 17 points per game and second with nearly five rebounds per game and he also is averaging four assists per contests. Zanna is second on the team with 12 points per game and he is shooting over 56 percent from the field and he is tops with over eight rebounds per game and those two will be the main focus for the Wake defense.

Wake comes into the game at 6-12 overall in the conference and 17-15 on the season and they finished with a loss to Miami to end the season and they won against Notre Dame in the ACC tournament first round and now have the chance to keep things going with an upset of Pitt. The team ended the season with a nice win against Duke before the Miami loss and they will be looking towards that as they play in the ACC tournament.
