Miami Heat Rumors: Dwyane Wade to Return in Free Agency, LeBron James, Chris Bosh Deny Pay Cuts as Big 3 Unlikely to Re-Sign in 2014

Slowly but surely details are starting to emerge of thought process of the Big 3. The Miami Heat are preparing for an interesting offseason as Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James can all hit the market for more money if they so choose. While all three are staying relatively quiet on what they plan to do with their futures, they are starting to drop hints on their intentions.

Wade has played 11 seasons with the Miami Heat and while he might not be the same deadly weapon he once was, he is a vital member of the defending champs who is allowing his game to age gracefully. However, with the chance to opt out of his contract and get more money elsewhere, is Wade looking to finish out his NBA career elsewhere?

I want to be here," Wade said, via David Aldridge of NBA.com. "I think that's always the things I've always said and I've always expressed. And after that, I want to win. I don't want to be in a situation where I'm starting over and I'm rebuilding. I want to win. And I want to be on a team that has an opportunity to do that, and feel like I'm a big part of that. This is where I want to be. But as players, [having] options is good. Because you don't know what is to happen or what is to come. So for us, I think we're in a great situation. Guys have options as players, and they can exercise those options. Who knows what that means? But right now, for us, we're on a very good team. We enjoy each other. We enjoy this city and we enjoy playing for this organization, and that's what we're going to continue to do."

It has been assumed that all three players will opt out of their current contracts no matter what this offseason. However, it remains to be seen if all three re-sign. Miami will have to get creative with their finances if they intend on re-signing all three players and they might be forced to take discounts once again.

According to Mitch Lawrence of the New York Daily News, James, Wade and Bosh are not looking to discounts this time around. All three took less money to sign with Miami and have the chance at winning a title. While that certainly worked out well in their favor, would they be willing to make the sacrifice a second time?

Wade intends to return no matter what James and Bosh do. Some NBA sources have speculated that Wade's health could play a large factor in what Bosh and James do with their futures. That remains to be seen.
