The Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals are playing a spring training game on Saturday to really kick things off in the Grapefruit League and the two NL East teams are favorites for the division and could be two of the best in the league and the Braves come in after a loss to the Houston Astros and they next play against the Detroit Tigers.

The Braves come in after locking up all their young stars this offseason, including Andrelton Simmons, Freddie Freeman and Craig Kimbrel and now they have their foundation stacked heading into the future. The team comes in after being in the top half of the league in on base percentage and runs and now they are looking to get back to the playoffs after their disappointing loss to the Dodgers.

The Braves have a ton of young talent and a stacked lineup and they had Chris Johnson lead the team with a .321 average while Justin Upton had 27 home runs and Freeman led the team with 109 RBIS, while Upton also was tops with runs and Kris Medlen showed he was an ace with 15 wins and a 3.11 ERA and now the team hopes Kimbrel can come back with 50 saves like he did last season and the Braves are one of the most consistent teams in the league.

The Nationals come into the game after a win against the New York Mets and they next play another divisional rival in the Miami Marlins and they come into the season with the 15th ranked offense in runs. The Braves and Nationals are looking for a division title this season and Washington is hoping to get back to the postseason after missing out last year and winning the title the season before.
