The NCAA Tournament schedule for 2014 and March Madness starts up in two weeks and it comes after the conference tournaments and the championship game is set for April 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, while the actual tourney begins on March 18 and comes after selection Sunday, which will be held on March 16 and that is when the last four in will get chosen.

The tournament was won last season by the Louisville Cardinals and this year there are a number of teams in the mix for top seeds, including Florida, Syracuse, Duke, Kansas and Wichita State. The Shockers are a big team to watch over the next couple weeks and as the schedule ends before the conference tournaments, as Wichita State is currently undefeated and could be the first team in over a decade to enter the tournament without any losses. Syracuse came into their last stretch with 24 straight wins and they were undefeated, but after losing to Boston College and Duke, the team remains in the top five and is looking to win the ACC conference tournament.

The tournament starts up with the "first round" on March 18 and 19 and that is the last four teams duking it out to get into the actual tournament. For some reason the NCAA continues to confuse everyone in the world by having the actual first round of the tournament called the second round, but the NCAA is so full of hypocrisy that's not a surprise they would do something so dumb. The schedule picks up with the second and third round games on March 20, 22 and those games will be in Orlando, Buffalo, Milwaukee and Spokane. The games continue on March 21-23 and then it leads into the regional rounds.

The South regional comes from Memphis, while the East regional will be at Madison Square Garden and it marks the first time in four decades that the tourney will use that as a venue. The Midwest regional and west regionals come from Indianapolis and Anaheim and then it's the final four and national semifinals from Arlington on April 5, while the championship game comes two days later on April 7.

Some of the current conference leaders around the nation include Virginia, Cincinnati, Saint Louis, Vermont, Kansas, Villanova, Michigan and Arizona among many others. The AP Top 25 has Florida ranked number one right now with Wichita State, Arizona, Syracuse, Kansas and Duke in the top six, while Louisville, Villanova, Creighton and Saint Louis are in the top 10 right now.
