Chelsea and Galatasaray play live on the Champions League schedule on Wednesday and the Blues visit Turk Telekom Arena for the first leg of the round of 16 match and comes as the club is first on the English Premier League table and in position to win the UCL this year and manager Jose Mourinho has his team ready for the game.

Chelsea comes in after a win at Stamford Bridge against Everton and that kept the team in first place in the English Premier League standings and coming up they play against Tottenham and Arsenal both at home. The Gunners are in second place after leading the EPL table for most of the season and after that Chelsea plays against Stoke City, Sunderland and Liverpool and that match will be at the Anfield. The team finishes with their last two matches against Norwich City and Cardiff City.

Dortmund won over Zenit on Tuesday and Manchester United lost against Olympiakos in a very disappointing defeat 2-0 and now they need to win but three goals at Old Trafford just to advance and that could be another huge hit for the club. Bayern Munich won over Arsenal last week, while AC Milan lost to Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain won big over Bayer, while Manchester City fell 2-0 to Barcelona at Etihad Stadium. The second leg matches pick up in a couple of weeks and Arsenal will have to visit the champions in Bayern Munich, while Chelsea and Real Madrid will get their home matches.

Chelsea has been playing very well in the Premier League this season and they are now first in the EPL table standings by a point over Arsenal and this has been a tough battle all year. All four teams could end up on top and the Gunners are just ahead of Manchester City and Liverpool, while Tottenham is currently in fifth place. Manchester United has slowly been moving up the table standings and they are now in sixth and while they have a ways to go, they could sneak into the top part of the table. Man U is up ahead over Everton for now and Newcastle and Sunderland are next on the table.

Chelsea is looking for a good result on Wednesday and Jose Mourinho said that he knows the match in Istanbul will be a tough one and the Blues will not underestimate Gala and they are looking to get the trophy back after 2012. Making it through the round of 16 would be huge and a Premier League title is possible as well and it's possible David Luiz and John Obi Mikel will be in the lineup. Man U couldn't get anything going on Tuesday and that came after Wayne Rooney's extension and the addition of Juan Mata and now they must try and rebound from the loss.
