Danny Granger was one of the top names traded at the NBA trading deadline and after moving from the Indiana Pacers to the Sixers, rumors have him looking for a buyout and teams like the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers and NY Knicks could be in the mix if he works that out with the Philadelphia 76ers.

According to ESPN.com, Granger is set to meet with the Sixers to discuss his buyout and there is a chance that he could decide to stay, as he could lose some of his rights as a free agent if he does so. Marc Stein from ESPN writes that if Granger looks to get a buyout, he would lose his Larry Bird rights and that is big for both Granger and the Sixers, as he wouldn't be able to deal with a sign and trade and could also affect the money he makes.

Granger obviously is pissed that he is going from a contender to a failing team in the Sixers, but heading into the summer is might be the best move to stay. Some options for Granger if he leaves could be the Miami Heat, OKC Thunder, Dallas Mavericks or San Antonio Spurs, as all those teams could use a shooter like him and the Spurs could be very interesting, as they are dealing with a number of injuries, including to Tony Parker and he could be a nice move to add some strength on the outside.

Granger was traded for Evan Turner and that move made the Pacers stronger and now he is stuck with the Sixers for now. Granger moved because he has a $13 million contract that is expiring and after coming back from major knee surgery he has been averaging less than 10 points in 29 games and now he could be a factor for teams heading towards the playoffs. The Pacers would have loved to keep Granger, but they knew they likely were going to lose the former All-Star as a free agent and he wasn't shooting so great either and that all contributed to the move.

Glen Davis is another name that is getting bought out, along with Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih and now all three players could move to new teams. The Clippers are Davis appear to be a match, while the Spurs and other teams will be looking at the players now on the market.
