Gonzaga and BYU are playing live on Thursday night on ESPN2 and the college basketball game starts up at 11 pm against Brigham Young and it will be at the Marriott Center and comes as the team is ranked in the AP Top 25 this season and they have one loss in the West Coast Conference on the schedule and the matchup is streaming online from WatchESPN.
The Bulldogs come in after a win against Loyola and the team next plays against San Diego and the team comes in scoring nearly 80 points per game and are ranked 33rd in the nation in scoring. The team is in the top 50 in assists per game and they are ranked fourth in shooting with 50 percent from the field and they have a chance to run the table the rest of the way. Gonzaga as some nice wins this season, including against Arkansas and West Virginia, but the team has also lost its games against ranked teams, including against Memphis when they were ranked 24th.
Gonzaga is in first place in WCC and they are up over BYU and they are three and a half games ahead and they finish with four straight games on the road heading into March and the conference tournament. BYU has 18 wins on the season and they are coming in after a win against Saint Mary's, while Portland is next on the schedule and the team is ranked third in scoring with 85 points per game and they are sixth in rebounds per game and they are in the top 10 in that and have been playing well as of late. The team has won five of the past six games and they are trying to end the season on a strong note.
