NBA All-Star Game TV Schedule 2014: Start Time and Channel For TNT Event Sunday Matchup East West

The NBA All-Star Game 2014 TV schedule kicks off on Friday and the weekend has a full slate of events, including the dunk contest, 3-point shootout, East West game and the rising stars challenge and that all will be coming live from New Orleans as the Pelicans host the festivities this time around with LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant leading the way.

The schedule starts off on Friday with a number of events to open the weekend, including the All-Star game media day on NBA TV and then after that the Basketball Hall of Fame will have its announcement of a new class and that comes a few hours before the celebrity basketball game. The Sprint All-Star Celebrity Game has grown in popularity over the past few years and it will be broadcast live on ESPN once again and comes before the Rising Stars challenge on TNT and that will have a number of top young players going at it starting up at 9 pm.

Saturday has more TV coverage and the All-Star skills challenge is the big event for the night and comes at 7 pm and Adam Silver will also be having a news conference at that time. The events for the skills challenge gets started up at 8:30 pm ET and it will have the Sears Shooting Stars event first and then the Taco Bell Skills Challenge before the two big events: the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest and the Sprite Slam Dunk contest and that has more big names in years, as Paul George, Damian Lillard and Ben McLeMore will be in it and on Sunday is the big game.

The matchup on Sunday starts up at 8 pm and the 63rd All-Star Game will top off on TNT starting up at 8 pm ET.
