Syracuse is 23-0 on the season and Pitt comes in 20-4 and 8-3 in the ACC and this is a matchup that the Orange could lose and it comes ahead of some tough games on the schedule, as they play Boston College next before a three game road trip. Syracuse plays on the road against Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium and then they play against Maryland and Virginia, while Georgia Tech and Florida State are the last two teams on the schedule.

The team has the chance to make it into the tournament as the first undefeated team in decades and they are looking very strong as the second part of the season starts to finish up. Fair has 16.8 points per game to lead the team in scoring and they are first in the polls and that likely will remain until they lose a game. The team is ranked 187th in the league in points per game with 71 points per contest and they are shooting over 45 percent from the field and they are allowing just 60 points per game and are ranked in the top 10 in total defense, seventh in the nation.

The two teams are best in the ACC right now with Virginia and the standings has four teams in the top 25 and Duke is right there in the mix ahead of North Carolina.
