The Seahawks championship parade has a live stream online for the Seattle Super Bowl rally and celebration and it is streaming on TV from KiroTV.com for local fans and the celebration on Wednesday will go around the city and into CenturyLink Field and Safeco Field downtown with the Lombardi Trophy and the entire team involved in the party.

The city is celebrating its first championship in a major sport since 1979 when the Sonics won the NBA title and this is the first Super Bowl championship for the team after they made it to the game against the Steelers just under a decade ago. The win was a dominant one for the Seahawks and was mostly due to the suffocating play of their defense, which did not allow Peyton Manning and the Broncos to get anything going and now this could be the start of a dynasty.

Malcolm Smith fittingly won the MVP from the defensive side of the ball and he will be front and center for the celebration after his interception return for a touchdown. The fans in Seattle are known as the 12th man and now they will have reason to celebrate after losing in 2005 to Pittsburgh and the parade on Wednesday will start up at 2 pm ET and 11 am PT and will go through the city before finishing up at the team complex and with so many fans coming, the Seattle Mariners have gotten in on the action and are opening up Safeco Field for fans, which is right next door to the Link down near the water.

The parade route will snake through the city and starts on Fourth Avenue according to ESPN.com and it will continue down the road before heading to the home stadium and fans have been asked to take as much public transportation as possible. Pete Carroll called for a school day for fans to celebrate the championship and the whole parade and rally afterwards will be on local TV and streaming online from KIRO 7. The parade will go past Westlake Park and will have the entire team, coaching staff and front office on floats and thousands are expected to show up.

The procession will also have the Sea Gals cheerleading squad along with the team mascot Blitz and the Blue Thunder drum line according to ESPN.com and the temperature is expected to be chilly for the event. The Seahawks have the chance to build on this team now and players like Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman have showed that they are some of the best in the league and Seattle has shown that they have totally bought into Carroll's coaching style. Russell Wilson was excellent in the Super Bowl and now he is just the fourth quarterback to win a championship in his second season, joining names like Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger. The Seahawks defense did not allow a point until the second half and they shut down the top offense in the NFL and the top QB, as the Broncos set records for the most points on offense and Manning set single season passing and touchdown records.
