The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Iowa Hawkeyes are facing off on Tuesday night in a battle of Big Ten college basketball teams and the ESPN game will be streaming from the WatchESPN website and comes from Carver-Hawkeye Arena at 7 pm and gives OSU the chance to get back on track after losing five of the last six games.

The team comes into the matchup unranked after tanking a bit the past couple weeks and now they face off against the number 17 ranked team in the nation. The Buckeyes comes into the game after a tight win over Wisconsin and that came after a crushing home loss in overtime to Penn State and now they face their second ranked team in a row on the road after winning at the Badgers and now they face three ranked teams in four games. After playing against Wisconsin and Iowa, the team has a home matchup against Purdue before playing against the Michigan Wolverines and that will be in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines come into the game ranked 10th right now and the Buckeyes will be looking to get things right heading into March.

The team is averaging just 72 points per game after scoring higher earlier in the season and they are shooting just 45 percent from the field so far. The Buckeyes are looking to get back on track on Tuesday and they have a tough team to do it against in Iowa. The Buckeyes already lost to the Hawkeyes this season and that matchup was at home and by 10 points while Iowa was still ranked and now it could be two this season already. The team has a tough schedule to finish the season and they matchup with Penn State and Indiana again on the road before ending the year with one of the best teams in the nation in the Michigan State Spartans at home.

The Buckeyes started off the season very well with 15 straight wins and since the Big Ten conference schedule has opened the team has struggled and they now need to start playing better to have any chance at making a run in March. The team is very low in the standings in the conference and they are behind the leaders in Michigan State and Michigan as well as Iowa and Northwestern and to get to the top they will need to start playing better and more efficient on offense and defense.

Iowa comes into the game after a nice win against Illinois and they next will play against Michigan after the home matchup with Ohio State. The team comes in after winning two of the last three games, losing just to MSU in overtime at home and they have some tough games coming up, including a return visit to East Lansing as well as a matchup with Michigan at home after losing to the team in Ann Arbor. The Hawkeyes are one of the best offensive teams in the nation and they are averaging 84 points and grabbing 43 rebounds per contest, both in the top 10 in the nation.
